absolut garbage.
Now that's an idea for the absolut vodka company to use to openly slam any fakey-fakey imitation stuff that ever appear :) Haha, not that anyone will actually want to. Oh well. Anyway,
"I have been tagged" by someone who refers to himself as wheelchair boy, even though his legs are perfectly fine. Yup, these kind of people actually exist, but I guess we need to embrace diversity, ya? Haha. I'm so sorry kernchoong :) Apparently this kind of totally lame quiz has
rules too, but I can't really be bothered to list them all here cos that would be wasting a couple of minutes of my life copying/pasting/reformatting something that no one cares about. So.. yeah.
I don't actually see any point in revealing so much info about yourself.
But since I'm super bored, I shall humour kc. :)

Movie: Simpsons!! Hahahaha. I still rmb byap, Leon and I went to watch before crosscountry AND Leon almost made us late cos he left his wallet at GV :D :D
Sport: Anything :) Except volleyball, cos that hurts my hands? I play too many sports to list here. Haha.
Day: What about... Holi-day? :)
Season: I think the EPL season's fine. But maybe winter. Like.. I win-ter competition? Ok never mind.
Ice-cream: Everything except weird flavours. What do I mean by "weird"? Durian is weird. Mango is weird.

Surrounding: My... house? Ok let's describe what's on my left, right, and back! (in front's obviously the co. screen) On my left's my ipod, plugged into the laptop. On my right's this nice & bouncy gym ball which my siblings and I use as a chair most of the time. Behind me is an insane trebuchet made out of an old badminton racket amongst other things that my brother helped build for my sister for her science project -.- It can shoot tennis balls up to 10 meters, so don't play play. It works.
Annoyances: Haha. Really want to know? Man U. They relegated Southampton on the last match of the season by beating them what.. 5-2 i think. Can't really remember. And I'm annoyed by extreme stupidity, if you know what I mean.
FirstsBest Friend: Haha can't really remember.

Crush: What about.. not going to tell you?
Music: What about Majulah Singapura? No wait. There have got to be some songs from kindergarten. Not sure..?
LastsDrink: Coffee with icecubes innocently floating around inside. At the coffee shop at serangoon gardens. You know. What's ironic is going to a coffee shop and buying tea. But never mind.
Car Ride: Um. 22nd november. The last homestay day when Xu Minghan's dad drove us to the Wuhan school? Yeah. Think so. My parent's don't drive. Go figure. At least we aren't decimating the ozone layer like millions of people elsewhere :)
Crush: I crushed a can of h20 during training.
CD Played: Since all my songs are on itunes, theoratically the last cd I played was Undiscovered by James Morrison (the album) on the way to Costa Sands for some chalet and my neeon was at creative service centre. I borrowed my sister's cd player. Haha. (Digression: The stupid 58 took so long to reach Pasir Ris- almost 2 full album's worth. I brought Life In Cartoon Motion too. That's almost 2 hrs.)
Have You EverDated one of your best friends? Nope.
Broken the law? Don't think so......?
Been arrested? Haha yes. All the time, after I wake up from a good sleep. Always, after sleeping, I feel... er... rested.. (ahahahhaha geddit?) Never mind.

Kissed someone you don't know? Why would I?
Random5 things you're good at: Sleeping :) Sports, except volleyball. It hurts my fingers, remember? And maybe other stupid-er sports like boxing. YES, another irony, why isn't anything to do with
boxing SQUARE,
except the arena which they box in, and even then, that
square is called a
ring. Really, I don't understand these things some times. Eating (i just ate a lot for lunch. and now i feel bloated haha). Talking on MSN until late late late at night/early early early in the morning. What about.. getting gold for NAPFA every yr? :) Haha.
4 things you've done today: Talked on MSN, went for training (random scgs girls randomly came today as a "surprise" -.= wonder who organised it.), ate lunch, did this thing. Ohwell. I have a really fun life, don't I?
3 things you hear right now: *the monotonous pitter-patter of raindrops gently colliding with earth*..., Prostitution Is The World's Oldest Profession (And I, Dear Madame, Am A Professional (it's not a sick song, sry Lincoln :D) by Cobra Starship, the keys of the keyboard constantly being pressed.. haha. Unlike KC, my fan is apparently not turned on. The wind is super strong :)
2 things you'll probably never do: Get even.. a pathetic gpa of 2.0 for physics. OH WAIT! I
don't take physics. Oh well. And run off/marry another guy. Yup.
1 thing you seriously regret doing: not choosing a confirmation name. Haha. Maybe not. But maybe I should have :) Oh well :D

I can't believe it.
I almost got lost in my own neighbourhood. How pathetic can that be. I took the MRT back from Tanjong Pagar after the CO concert just now, and reached Bishan at 11. I waited 40 minutes for the stupid 54 that never came (that was like.. totally deja vu- I waited ages for the 54 after rafflesian spotlight at around the same time.) Anyway, I didn't have much choice, so I started walking back through the Peminpins (a bunch of twisty, intersecting roads lined with landeds) and basically wasn't sure which way was the right way and spent about 20 minutes worriedly walking around alien roads. And it didn't help that there was this eerie silence that lingered.
I still can't believe it.
Anyway. I'm super super super super super tired.
That means, my post is finally not going to be about a thousand words long.

Hooray. My boredom has taken new heights- now I'm even slashing at song titles above my post (hahaha geddit? geddit? above? taking new heights? argh whatever.) in a bid to get some cheap humour? Argh. I can tell why cavemen invented fire. They were probably as bored as I am now- heck, that's probably why the era of caveman is called the stone ages. All they did was stone. In caves hollowed out from stone. Argh. Ok, I'm slowly losing my mind :)Since I'm feeling so bored and have nothing to blog about since I didn't really do much today, I shall blog about... music! (Again.) I spend too long (in my opinion) listening to music, but too bad- most of the songs in my ipod are just too addictive. Anyway. Here are my "top 25 most played" as told by iTunes. iTunes is weird. It comes with default playlists that don't even make sense. Especially the one that's called "90s music" which is automatically filled with rubbish that totally isn't 90s music. But whatever.
Wait, I think I'll change 25 to 10. :) I'm bored but not that bored. I'm some failure at giving reviews. Don't blame me if you see the words "great", "cool" etc. etc. being repeated at least 20 times. :D
1.
The City Is At War - Cobra Starship: The first track off Cobra Starship's latest album, ¡Viva La Cobra!, The City Is At War is the first reason why Strange Glue [
link], which gave the album
0 STARS (yes, it's totally what-the-hell-inducing), is wrong. It has a super-catchy instrumental melody, and I love the whatever-you-call-that instrument in the background. I think it's called a keytar. That's a stupid name, but whatever- wikipedia says that's what its called. Byap- Cobra Starship is loads better than Interpol xD
Bang, bang, shoot 'em up, yeah!
2.
Me Love - Sean Kingston The second single from the totally strange and random self-titled album, Sean Kingston, is about a million times better than the million times more famous 'Beautiful Girls' track which is annoying times a million. Anyway, Sean Kingston mixes Reggae and R&B perfectly, and the tune is just too addictive! Argh. I feel kind of guilty cos I play this song so much that most of his other,
lesser tracks sit in a pile, neglected. :)
3.
Tears And Rain - James Blunt If you think James Blunt is all about stange falsettos squealing "You're beautiful", then you're totally deluded. Tears and Rain is a nice song that has all the elements of a song that puts you to sleep, and I don't mean it in a bad way. For example, you listen to Interpol with the intention of listening to a good "Rock" (or at least that's what the genre thing says) song, and you fall asleep and get super annoyed that you fell asleep when you wake up, but you listen to James Blunt you feel really.. relaxed? Ok never mind. That was a stupid analogy. No wonder I didn't score really high for SS EOY.
4.
Crash - Gwen Stefani It's an unbelievably addictive track from Love.Angel.Music.Baby, which is Gwen Stefani's first solo album! Haha. I didn't really know about it until I watched this totally pointless video of random people jumping on tramps and being total sadcases and landing like.. on the floor, the frame, everywhere. Anyway, as some sort of joke, the author of the video put Crash as the BGM, so that's the first time I heard it. Haha.
5.
Stronger - Kanye West Stronger is an amazing lead single of Kanye's latest album, Graduation. It samples from this daft punk song- something like Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger- um. Something along that lines. Anyway, Stronger is totally different from the Daft Punk techno babble (yeah I know, totally wrong usage of that phrase), and it's a perfect mix of strange robotic backup vocals and Kanye-West's brand of anti-50cent-absolute-garbage hiphoppy rap. Hey! Strange minus the A (absolute garbade 50cent rap) and plus an R (r for robotic freaky background vocals) -> Stronger :O OMG. Kanye West can do his AMATHS! Ok, never mind.
6.
My Love - Westlife Cringe not, boyband haters (especially Leon)- My Love is not only a pretty good song despite the age-old fact that "it came from like.. 1833 or something" (quote Lincoln :D). Anyway, deep down, it possesses some sort of significance for Grp 2 of our Wuhan OIP group! It's the song that 2 of the guys from our class (the one we were teaching) sang for the English Salon (yeah I know, salon is such a stupid word to use for a random concert), and it's also the song that we sang along with every single time the two 12-yr-old China students came up to sing it. :)
7.
Who Am I - Casting Crowns Another song with like.. special meaning behind it- it's one of the last songs we ever learnt- and one of the last that we sang together as a con3 batch during the november retreat :S Haha. Plus, it has added significance. Since there wasn't a church in Wuhan, it's one of the songs that I actually remembered most of the lyrics, so it's one of the random songs in a medley of badly butchered hymns that really doesn't commeasurate (OMG I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO SPELL THE JUN SEAN HISTORY-RA WORD!) for the lack of mass, but has to do. Oh well, at least Eugene and Gabriel (who happen to be in Holy Spirit Church too- wow) were with me, so the three of us missed mass together =.-
8.
Clumsy - Fergie It's the 5th single off The Dutchess, after London Bridge, Fergalicious, Glamorous and Big Girls Don't Cry- all (except the last one) which contain overdoses of Paris Hilton slash Britney Spears sluttiness. Anyway, Clumsy is totally different, and surprisingly, it isn't overflowing with vulgarities like London Bridge or Glamorous :D And the music video is super super cool. :) Go check it out on youtube. I'm too lazy to get a link to put here.
9.
Jimmy Gets High - Daniel Powter One of the less-popular songs off the album Daniel Powter by, surprise, surprise, Daniel Powter (WERE YOU SURPRISED? Admit it.) Daniel Powter joins the fray (not the band, but literally) and competes with Mika and James Blunt in the battle of the soaring falsettos! In an attempt to become Prince of the High Cs, right behind Pavarotti, Jimmy Gets High is a statement from Daniel Powter that he can produce a nice song that has only a few lines that aren't in the female vocal range. :D
10.
Lollipop - Mika Mika has the unofficial yet pretigious honour of being the artiste of the first ever legal album (I'd like to underline that word, legal, at least a few million times) that I bought! After watching Grace Kelly about 10 times on MTV, I actually decided to buy an album with my own money :P, and I wasn't disappointed by Life In Cartoon Motion, which has tracks like Lollipop (which is a totally random song about love and lollipops :P) and Billy Brown (about this guy who's gay. yup). I think it's one of the best tracks on an already great album, so it's like.. the creme of the creme of the creme of the cream.
If any literary gems of the earth would like to sue me for my blatant butchering of the cliched phrase, creme of the crop, I'd like to remind you that Singapore doesn't have any space for agriculture.
Anyway. There are more songs, but none that I'd like to review, in the great interest of time :D Like One Way by Hillsong, Baby Love by Nicole Scherzinger, Hold On by KT Tunstall, blah blah. :) Maybe I'll save that for another time. I've written too much. At least I've managed to kill about.. what.. an hour? ++? :D Hooray for activities like writing long, drab essays on your blog! They totally totally kill time!
Only problem is-
who's organising the funeral?

OMG. IT'S 6PM AND IT'S NOT RAINING. I'm going to play soccer and even though my feet are super blistered and all from running around barefoot
almost every day, I'M GOING TO PLAY SOCCER YAYYY! I better hurry before it rains. That's the worst kind of logic (if there is any in the first place) but OMG. It's not raining argh argh argh. SOCCER! Yay :D :D :D

I think I possess super-failure maths skills. After calculating and recalculating and staring at numbers and numbers, today I realised that the chance of making it to the school team next yr isn't that slim after all. :D Yay! IF (sorry, I don't trust my maths) everything goes according to plan, I can actually make it just ahead of Timothy by 1 pathetic point overall! :O
But never mind. Talking won't get me anywhere for now- I need to pull every single trick I have out of my comparatively small bag and make ZERO mistakes. Arghhh. The margin for error now is like.. zero. after I screwed up TWICE, any mistakes are going to cost me :( I have this feeling that I'll make it
near the end and I'm almost there, I'm almost there and then before I know it, 2008 is going to be a really free year for me. :X TOO MUCH PRESSURE! Argh. This is even than nationals itself. Argh. Argh. ARGHHHHH!!
Today was going to be a good day. The sun was shining brightly the whole day. When I woke up, went for training, ate lunch with Kim Wee and Michael at serangoon gardens market, went home- the sun was shining all the way!!! Haha. I was looking forward to finally going down to play
real soccer, but guess what? Nature has this annoying way of tormenting you when you least want it- and it started raining. If this wasn't the monsoon season, I'd be posting long rants about how nature is probably punishing the world for global warming. Haha, never mind.
My posts are getting longer and wordier. That obviously shows how bored I am. Bleah, whatever. Anyway, the only Linkin Park song that I really like is Shadow of the Day, and argh it's nice. I don't see how people can like What I've Done or Bleed It Out, cos I don't really like screamy songs. Haha. But anyway, the lyrics are surprisingly meaningful. I mean. Better than some songs like Yummy by Gwen Stefani, which has got to be the most pointless song ever. I mean. The first line is "I'm feeling yummy head to toe". IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE, hello?
I close both locks below the window
I close both blinds and turn away
Sometimes solutions aren't so simple
Sometimes good bye's the only way
And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
In cards and flowers on your window
Your friends all plead for you to stay
Sometimes beginnings aren't so simple
Sometimes goodbye's the only way
And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you.SELECTIONS! Argh.

Hold on, to what you've been given lately.Hold on, to what you know you've got.Hold on, to what you've been given lately.Hold on, cos the world will turn if you're ready or not.I'm suddenly hooked on Winning Eleven again. I'm playing Master League with some Gimnastic Tarragona, and I um. got rid of the entire first team, so basically, everybody in my team now is under 25 :) My team is the team of the future! Not a soggy bunch of war veterans who are around 30+ and run as fast as hippos :D Haha. Anyway I didn't have much money to buy a whole lot of players, so I have about.. 17? Not sure.
My *youthful and vibrant* squad plays 3-1-2-2-2. It's basically 3-5-2, just that the players don't cram up in a stupidly long parallel line like the formation name suggests. And if Tsui's around- my team totally owns your dream team that's half made of ex-Arsenal oldies :) Haha. My starting eleven is Gomes (PSV), Kompany (Hamburg), Heitinga (Ajax), Dawson (Tottenham), Jagielka (Sheffield Utd) Yaya Toure (some french club), De La Red (Real Madrid B), Sneijder (Real Madrid), Ivanschitz (Panathinaikos), Wallner (Farkirk) and Huysegems (Twente). My team > yours! :D Yay!
Haha. I'm off to play more Winning Eleven. :D AND I just realised that in soccer, you can't win all the time, so Konami should change the name of the game to The Eleven that Wins, Loses, Draws but Generally Plays Soccer. :D

Argh.

wow. I'm blogging from my iPod. It isn't the easiest thing to type on but I'm getting better. Whatever. I've been unceremoniously barged off the computer so guess what. I've actually found something to do :( yeah and I'm feeling totally terrible about selections- but I shallsave that for tomorrow. Bleah.

drastic fantastic
